“Structural Integration is a very interesting and unusual procedure. Structural Integration opened up breathing space and expansion in my upper chest, and I can now take noticeably deeper breaths. I’m learning new body awareness. I have to remember to think about my alignment when I walk and sit to overcome bad habits. Now that Structural Integration has given me the ability to easily align my body, I don’t have to “force” my body into alignment. My muscles are “freer” to move.
I can now open my shoulder in yoga farther than before. I can sit on the floor without the back pain, which I’ve endured for many years. I can place my entire fingers on the floor in a forward bend, as my trunk muscles will now lengthen. Working with such an entirely pleasant person as Chris makes any discomfort of Structural Integration bearable. Together we work towards finding the “good” side of pain, where my body can receive the necessary pressure to unlock the muscles.

“ONE treatment and the dull ache/pain in my arm was gone. It felt so good. I am going back for a follow up treatment. This is way different then massage as she focuses on a specific area and the connective tissue and balances each side of the body.
